One Act of Giving Creates a Wave of Harmony.

Plus One for the Arts is our signature initiative that turns a single act of giving into expanded access to live performances and arts experiences across Maui County.

 Your ticket can do more.  Since 2023, the Plus One Ticket Program has provided more than 8,500 free or subsidized tickets to youth, families in need and kūpuna across Maui.  Each sponsored seat invites someone who might otherwise miss the magic to experience live theatre, music and cultural performances. 

When you participate in Plus One, you’re not just attending a performance.
You’re helping ensure that the magic of live theatre, music, and cultural storytelling is shared with those who might otherwise be left out.

How it Works

1. Community Partnerships: We collaborate with schools, nonprofits and arts organizations to identify individuals and families who will benefit 
2. Sponsored Tickets: We distribute tickets at no cost, opening the doors to Broadway‑inspired shows and culturally rich Hawaiian productions 
3. Expanding Opportunities: By removing financial barriers, we foster joy, connection and future artists within our community
