Production Support for Maui’s Performing Arts
Stage Lights is the Wave of Harmony Foundation’s commitment to strengthening Maui’s performing arts community by supporting the productions that bring our stages to life. Through this program, WHF provides targeted production support to local theatre groups, schools, and cultural organizations—helping reduce the financial barriers of creating live performances.
Stage Lights allows artists, educators, and performers to focus on storytelling, creativity, and excellence, while ensuring that theatre and cultural productions remain accessible, high-quality, and community-centered.
By investing in Stage Lights, WHF supports the creative process from behind the scenes—covering essential production costs and helping performances reach the audiences who need them most.
What We Sponsor:
- Theatre Productions: From youth and community theatre to professional shows.
- Cultural Performances: Hawaiian hula, musical revues and other celebrations of our rich heritage.
- School Productions: Drama clubs and performing arts centers producing shows for students and the community.
- Original Works: New plays, musical creations and performances that reflect Maui’s unique stories.
How to Apply:
Maui‑based theatre groups, schools and cultural organizations can request a Stage Lights application. Submit your production plan, budget and a vision statement for community engagement. A panel of arts professional’s reviews applications and awards sponsorships based on mission alignment, impact and need.
