By providing scholarships, training, and hands-on experiences, we equip youth with the creativity, leadership, and confidence to carry Maui’s cultural and artistic legacy forward.

Pono (justice and balance), we break down barriers to ensure that the performing arts are accessible to all. By integrating Hawaiian traditions, language, and diverse cultural expressions into education and performances, we protect and celebrate the unique heritage of Maui and its people.

Laulima (working together), we connect youth and kūpuna (elders) to ensure that knowledge, traditions, and cultural wisdom are shared across generations. Through intergenerational programs, storytelling, and mentorship, we strengthen community bonds and preserve the living history of our people.

Mālama (to care for), we use the arts as a tool for emotional healing, resilience, and social connection. By providing creative outlets for individuals and communities—especially those impacted by hardship—we honor the arts as a source of restoration and renewal.

Llōkahi (unity and harmony), we drive investment in Maui’s creative economy by supporting local artists, funding productions, and developing sustainable career pathways in the performing arts.
